Benny Clark
has traveled the world performing with
legends such as Wilson Pickett, Emra Franklin, The
Coasters, The Temptations, Little Milton, Isley
Brothers, Little Richard, James Booker, Grover
Washington Jr., George Coleman and many more.
Benny has worked along side music industry mogul Otis
Blackwell (Songwriter of such hits as “All Shook Up”,
“Don’t Be Cruel”, Great Balls of Fire”, “You Give Me
Fever” ) as well as CBS, Warner Brothers, PolyGram,
RCA, Macola Records, Brunswick Records promoting
artists such as Larry Graham, and Dr. Dre (Wrecking
Crew). Additionally, Benny Co-Produced “Sing Man” with
Ray Brown Jr. having negotiated the recording contract
with SRI Records.
Highly sought after for his unique understanding of music,
Benny was the producer, arranger and A & R Director at
Brunswick Records working with artists including Jackie
Wilson, Chi-Lites and Tyrone Davis.
Benny was the Founder, Producer and Arranger at
DEVEL Records which was the only company federally
funded by the Government and distributed by CBS
Records under the direction of Clive Davis.
Benny has performed at the world famous Apollo Theatre
in Harlem, New York, as well as arranged, produced and
conducted a 21-piece orchestra at Carnegie Hall. Today,
Benny is bringing his musical talents together with the
Benny Clark Trio and his larger group, the Benny Clark
Soul Band.
